- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My wife recently had some treatment done at this Practise (3 months ago). Her regular dentist had left shortly after he had a denture made for her and after having 3 teeth removed at Hinchingbrooke hospital she returned to this Practise to have the denture fitted properly. Her experience with the new dentist she was appointed (Konstantinos) was, to put it mildly, appalling. He fitted the denture for her and told her to remove it in half an hour. When she tried to remove it - it was firmly stuck in place and wouldn't move so she was allotted a time to come back and let the same dentist remove it. He tried everything in the book to remove this denture - eventually trying to drill it out and was constantly 'slipping' with the drill and hitting her gums/mouth and making them bleed (she has a particular type of cancer which leaves her with a very weak immune system and any open wound can lead to infection and she usually ends up in hospital having very strong anti-biotics)-none of this was even taken into account. Despite -eventually- giving her injections, they lasted only a short while and the pain was unbearable. She likened the experience to "Going back to the 1950's" . The whole experience lasted 45 minutes before he was able to break up the denture and remove it. All he kept saying to her (through her tears)was "You don't know how awful I feel about this" as though he needed sympathy! Needless to say she was so traumatised by the treatment she will never return and would never recommend this dentist to anyone.
